Wake Up We're Affected (WUWA) was founded in 1998 by Min. Don and Rev. Geraldine Anderson the first African American faith based grassroots, non-profit, HIV/AIDS ministry to be housed in a church in the State of Minnesota.
Min. Geraldine Anderson continues in the fight to provide pratical life skills and education around HIV/AIDS, Health and Wellness for families who are infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS and HCV.
WUWA encourages spiritual healing and companionship with in the community of people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. Wake Up We're Affected assist in rekindling family traditions and strengthening of family ties.
Min. Gerry is a motivational speaker who lives a story of hope and faith. She tells a real and authentic message based on her journey, calling the community to respond together. Having a living knowledge of how HIV and HCV has impacted her family and her community. She offers a genuine and inspirational message.
Motivating youth, families and adults, Gerry brings a living reality to your group or organization.
